If you're on the hunt for an authentic Afghan dining experience in Dubai, look no further than Afghan Khorasan Kabab. Nestled in the spirited Al Quoz district, this delightful restaurant offers a charming atmosphere that perfectly encapsulates the warmth of Afghan hospitality.

From the moment you enter, you're greeted with a cozy ambiance, enhanced by friendly service—just ask Zain Shaikh, who praised server Sajawal for his attentiveness and knowledge of the menu. The establishment maintains a clean and inviting environment, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special meals with loved ones.

The cuisine here is a vibrant tapestry of flavors, showcasing a range of dishes that are both tantalizing and authentic. One standout item is the Mix Kebab, where expertly seasoned meats are grilled to perfection, offering an explosion of robust flavors paired with a delightful spicy kick. Customer Masoud Adeli raves about the juicy, tender kebabs and cannot resist the warm, freshly baked bread—ideal for soaking up the rich sauces that accompany the meals.

Vegetarians will rejoice over options like the Borani Banjaan, featuring fried eggplant complemented by savory tomatoes and velvety yogurt, or the Mix Vegetables, where assorted veggies are infused with fragrant Afghan spices, creating a dish that’s as nourishing as it is tasty.

No meal at Afghan Khorasan Kabab would be complete without indulging in a refreshing drink. The Laban, made from fresh yogurt and a hint of mint, is the perfect accompaniment to cleanse your palate and enhance your culinary adventure.

While the food shines, some customers, like Jihad Mekroud, have noted that service could benefit from a little more coordination, but this minor flaw does little to diminish the overall experience when the flavors are as mesmerizing as they are here.

With impeccable flavors, hearty portion sizes, and prices that are a steal for the quality offered, Afghan Khorasan Kabab embodies the spirit of Afghan cuisine, inviting you to share in its rich culinary heritage. Whether you’re a local or a visitor to Dubai, this gem is not to be missed for an unforgettable feast that tantalizes the tastebuds and warms the heart.

Atmosphere was charming I tried the Mix Kebab and it was seriously delicious - tender, full of flavor, and with a nice spicy kick (a bit hotter than expected, but in the best way!). But let's talk about their fresh baked bread- warm, it was so good I had to order extra just to soak up all those amazing sauces! And get this - the price is unbelievably good for such quality. Between the juicy kebabs and that heavenly bread, I'm definitely coming back to try everything else on the menu!"

Tried Afghan Khorasan Kabab recently and was quite pleased with the overall experience. The food was flavorful and authentic — especially the kebabs which were well-seasoned and juicy. The place itself is clean and nicely set up, offering a good atmosphere for casual dining. That said, the service could use some improvement. It felt a bit uncoordinated and slower than expected, even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy at the time. Still, worth a visit if you’re in the mood for Afghan cuisine in Dubai.

We recently visited Afghan Khorasan Kebab and had a fantastic dining experience that’s worth sharing. We ordered their three-dish thali, which included Mutton Rosh, Daal Chana, and Bhindi Masala — and each item truly delivered in terms of flavor, authenticity, and satisfaction. The Mutton Rosh was the highlight — incredibly tender pieces of meat cooked in a rich, aromatic broth that reflected the depth of traditional Pakistani cooking. It had that slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to come by and instantly made it a favorite at the table. The Daal Chana was equally impressive. It had a comforting, home-style texture with just the right amount of spice and seasoning. It was simple yet bursting with flavor — something that can only come from a place that understands its roots in Pakistani cuisine. The surprise element was the Bhindi Masala, which was fresh, well-cooked, and packed with taste. It wasn’t overly oily, and the masala was perfectly balanced, enhancing the natural flavor of the bhindi without overpowering it. Beyond the food, the restaurant ambiance was clean and modest, perfect for a casual meal. The staff was polite, helpful, and very cooperative, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Afghan Khorasan Kebab is a great choice for those looking to enjoy authentic, traditional Pakistani-style dishes in a comfortable and friendly environment. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu.

If you're craving authentic Afghan food, this spot in Al Quoz is a gem. Their Bukhari Mutton Pulao is packed with flavor and tender meat, while the Green Kadahi with fresh naan is rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. Shoutout to Sajawal, the server—super friendly, attentive, and really knows the menu well. He made the whole experience even better. Great food, warm service, and solid value. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Afghan Khorasan Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience. The Namkeen Ghost was exceptionally delicious—perfectly cooked, tender, and rich in authentic Afghan flavor. The quality and taste truly reflected traditional expertise and attention to detail in preparation. I would like to express special appreciation to Mr. Sajawal and Mr. Nabeel for their excellent service. Both were highly professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the visit. Their warm hospitality and prompt service added great value to the overall dining experience. Afghan Khorasan Hotel stands out not only for its flavorful cuisine but also for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates authentic Afghan food served with genuine care and professionalism.

I recently revisited this restaurant after almost six years and was pleasantly surprised to find that the food still has the same amazing taste. While the exterior might not give the best first impression, the interior is spacious and welcoming. The seating is mixed and not separated for families, which could be improved. Their barbecue is exceptional, and the kabuli pulao is absolutely delicious. However, the starters and service could use some enhancement. Additionally, adding outdoor seating could significantly improve the overall dining experience.

Tried Afghan Khorasan Kabab in Al Quoz 1 — a decent spot for Afghani cuisine lovers. The food was served on time, and the staff were friendly, though the restaurant seemed under-staffed during peak hours. We ordered a variety of dishes: • Mix Grill: 4/5 — meat skewers were juicy and well-seasoned, but the chicken skewer was quite dry and lacked tenderness. • Mutton Shinwari: 3/5 — average taste, could be more flavorful. • Kabuli Pulao: 3/5 — decent but nothing exceptional. • Chapli Kabab: 1/5 — very hard and didn’t taste fresh, likely frozen. • Rabri Sweet: 4/5 — rich and enjoyable. • Kulfi: 3/5 — average. • Soup: 4/5 — nicely prepared and flavorful. Overall, recommended for fans of Afghan food, but there’s room for improvement, especially in food consistency and service during busy hours.

Short drive across the bridge if you are coming from Downtown / Business Bay area. Does the job for a quick local fix - - Mixed grill is pretty standard, can be more savory. Chicken breast is dried and hard - Lamb ribs are above average, maintains its juicyness - Roast chicken is not bad pretty autenthic - Kunafa is nice, light and crispy.
